Worth and Use.  Wisdom teaches me the distinction between these measurements.

Usefull or useless – or rather ‘usable’ and fit for use in a specific way is a variable we can choose to pursue.

Inside the space shuttle or a surgical suite, my use would be ‘less’… in a different role, hopefully my use would be more or even full.

I work toward being – use.more and use.full – in regards to serving others and in the areas of my given talents and strengths.

Worth – a valuation of Love which always originates with the giver.

All people have worth and value that is measured on a Divine scale.

Regardless of our choices that defy love, the Almighty loves people with the true ‘unconditional’ love in which every soul longs.

I am grateful for a value of love that is measured by the Lover and not by my use.full.ness.

    CommonUnity…when we draw close to one another and we lift and encourage and sharpen one another we build CommonUnity – Community. Apart we can but less, Together we can so much more – result: we are better prepared to go help others. Wisdom teaches me that a three-strand cord is not easily broken. Together, let us help each other help others

Focus begets Function.

All function begins with focus and therein we find our responsibility.

Wisdom reminds us to choose to focus on whatsoever is true, honest,

just and pure so that we may function in a way that blesses and serves others.

Wisdom reminds us that we do lead & we do follow and everything does count – for the good or not – let’s make sure we’re following the good because we are being followed!

Magnets

One pole gives and one pole is drawn in as it receives.

People who seem to have a ‘gift’ of attracting and leading others are

actually manifesting a decision to put others first.

The attractive person is attractive because they put others before themselves.

The best conversationalist is the one that asks questions and

then listens to the answers.

Wisdom reminds us that we have two ears and one tongue for a reason.

When we listen to others and respond to their needs over our own –

we are an attractive blessing – the rewards that return to us are priceless.

Discomfort – whether of my making or bestowed as a gift,

comes offering a change to grow, to rise, to lift.

Wisdom reminds me that growing pains before it rewards.

Ask one in it and they cry for sweet relief,

Ask one past it and they’ll tell you their belief.

I am eternally grateful that I do not walk al.one but

there is One who walks beside me offering help and hope.

Mr Browning said it well…

“I walked a mile with Pleasure;
She chatted all the way;
But left me none the wiser
For all she had to say.

I walked a mile with Sorrow;
And ne’er a word said she;
But, oh! The things I learned from her,
When Sorrow walked with me.”
Robert Browning
